Closure Notice

The Goethe-Institut Ethiopia will be closed from June 30 to July 15, 2025. As we are located on the campus of the College of Business and Economics of Addis Ababa University, we will close during the Ethiopian General University Entrance Examination, also known as the Grade 12 National Examination, which will be held on the university campus during this period. The Goethe-Institut Äthiopien wishes best of luck to the students for their forthcoming examination. Our online services will still be available during the closure period.

The eLibrary is the virtual library of the Goethe-Institut. This service allows you to borrow digital documents, such as eBooks, eAudio books and electronic newspapers, for a predetermined period of time, by downloading them from the eLibrary.
