Workshop Facilitators for the “Library of Things”

The “Library of Things” at the Goethe-Institut Amman is looking for creative and experienced workshop facilitators who can design and lead hands-on, inspiring workshops for beginners using the available items.
Please note: If more than these items are required for the workshops, they may be borrowed somewhere else.
Objective:
To encourage people to discover new skills and explore the wide range of the “Library of Things” through practical, hands-on projects focused on making, repairing, and creative expression.
We are looking for workshop formats such as:

We are looking for workshop formats such as:
- Upcycling furniture
- Filming with the GoPro camera
- Introduction to DJing
- Bread-baking workshops for beginners
- Introduction to DIY repairs
- Or completely new ideas!
Framework conditions:
- Period: From June/July 2025 onward
- Target groups: Open (children, youth, adults – depending on your concept)
- Location: Dialogpunkt (in cooperation with local partners)
- Language: English or Arabic, bilingual if needed

- Short description of the workshop concept (including target group and duration)
- Availability from June/July 2025 until the end of 2025
- Fee / budget proposal
- Any notes on required materials or space requirements
- You may propose a single workshop or a series of workshops
- Application deadline: May 25, 2025
